Frequently asked questions:Do you have different packages or prices for your services?Absolutely not. We do not beleive in the "budget wedding" or the "platinum wedding". We beleive in delivering the highest level of entertainment and service everytime. We have one price and it includes a DJ, Master of Ceremony, premium sound equipment, lighting, unlimited phone consultations and an in-person consultation & planning session.Does Soundwave provide a DJ and Master of Ceremony for every reception?Yes, we provide a DJ and Master of Ceremony for all of our clients. It is our opinion that 2 skilled professionals are needed to effectively coordinate the music and the events at wedding receptions. Can you also play music for the wedding ceremony?Yes we can. We will meet with the Bride and Groom to decide on music for the wedding ceremony and reception in advanceCan we select music for our event?Absolutely, we strongly encourage you to tell us what music you want to hear and we can also send you a list of some of the most popular songs to help get your playlist started. We also always use our professional experience to play songs that mix with your selections to keep you and your guests dancing. Please notify us of any songs that you would not like to be played as well.How do we reserve our date?To reserve your date with Soundwave we ask for a $125 deposit. This deposit will be applied towards your balance and can be used for a future event should you need to cancel or postpone.How early will you arrive to our reception?We generally arrive to every reception 1 hour early to set-up equipment and perform sound checks. You do not pay for this extra time and it does not take away from the contracted entertainment time.What attire will your DJ and Master of Ceremony be dressed in?Our standard dress is black tuxedo. This can be changed to meet our client's request.Can we change our contracted date?If the date is available you can change your contracted date without any additional charges. Do you carry backup equipment?Yes. We have never experienced a major technical problem but we always have backup equipment with us just in case something should happen.
